Lisa graduated with Highest Honors from Rockford Career College with her Massage Therapy Diploma in 2013. She has completed over 860 hours of hands on training and spent most of her massage therapy experience in a clinical setting. She is certified in Prenatal Massage and an insured member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). In 2009, Lisa also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
As a previous sufferer of muscle pain, she understands the importance of Massage Therapy and hopes to help others feel the best they possibly can. She became interested in becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist after experiencing the benefits massage therapy had on her body. With a growing interest, she sought out a new career and couldn't be happier with her decision. Her massage style is effective and intentional by incorporating a range of modalities, including Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy. Through experience she has learned no two massage sessions are alike. Everyone has a unique relationship with their body, allowing muscle groups to react differently to life's experiences. Some may enjoy a lighter touch for a calming and mentally relaxing experience, while others may prefer a deeper touch to alleviate muscle tension. She is dedicated to providing a comfortable environment and strives to achieve a goal-oriented massage session for each valuable client.
Along with massage, Lisa enjoys being a mother of three, spending time with her family, traveling, sporting events, and exercising. She is also a dōTERRA wellness advocate who loves using and teaching about essential oils.
